Just your words, a little different.

1

Write a little something

Type or paste your text. The previews change with every keystroke.

2

Find your favorite

Compare tiny letters, small caps and subscript. Check any unchanged characters.

3

Take it anywhere

Copy a style, paste it into your app and check how it looks there.

It’s text. Not a font.
That’s the little difference.

A small text generator swaps ordinary letters for Unicode characters that look smaller. The characters travel when you copy them, so there’s no font to install.

The final look depends on the app and font. Some letters don’t have a matching tiny form. We’ll always tell you which ones stay original.

Three styles. Three little personalities.

They may all look small, but they don’t work the same way.

Coverage refers to this converter’s Latin-letter mappings, not universal device support. Digits stay original in small caps.

What is a small text generator?

A small text generator replaces ordinary letters with existing Unicode characters that look smaller. The result is plain text you can copy and paste, rather than a font file or a change to your device’s font size.

Is this tiny text generator free?

Yes. All styles and copy buttons are free, with no account, download or payment required. Conversion happens in your browser as you type.

Why do some letters stay normal?

Unicode does not offer a complete, consistently supported alphabet for every style. Our superscript set leaves q unchanged; small caps leaves x unchanged; subscript has only 17 Latin letters. We flag unchanged letters instead of silently substituting unrelated characters. Accented letters and other writing systems are preserved.

Can I paste small text into Instagram, Discord or TikTok?

Many bios, display names, captions and messages accept Unicode text. Acceptance depends on the field, app, device and font. Handles have stricter rules: Discord’s unique username does not accept these letters. Try a short sample in the exact field before saving.

Does this work with numbers and chemical formulas?

Superscript and subscript support all ten digits. Choose Digits only to turn x2 into x² or H2O into H₂O while keeping the letters unchanged. This tool does not parse or validate chemical formulas.

Is small text accessible or good for SEO?

Decorative Unicode may be pronounced unexpectedly by screen readers and may not match ordinary search queries. Keep names, links, navigation, important information and long passages in ordinary text. For websites, use CSS or semantic sup/sub markup when formatting is what you need.

Is the text I enter stored?

The converter does not send your input to a conversion server or save your drafts in local storage. Copy uses your device clipboard. Pasting text into another app is subject to that app’s own privacy practices.

Same words. A different feeling.

Find a style that fits. Every generator is free and ready to copy.
