A different kind of little

Bold Text Generator

Give a few words a little extra weight. This converter uses mathematical bold characters for Latin letters and digits. Use it sparingly in captions or messages when the app has no ordinary bold formatting.

A little heads-up. ASCII Latin letters and digits are supported. Other scripts and accented characters remain original. These mathematical symbols can affect search, screen readers and character limits.

Small details matter.

Short caption accents and messages. Prefer native bold formatting whenever available.

These are real Unicode characters, not a font file. They can look different across devices. If you see boxes, a rejected name or awkward spacing, use ordinary text for that field.

Is this the same as pressing Bold?

No. A bold button changes the appearance of ordinary text. This tool replaces each supported character with a different Unicode symbol.

Does bold text use more characters?

One visible character may occupy multiple UTF-16 code units. Apps count text differently, so check the destination’s own limit.

Is small text accessible or good for SEO?

Decorative Unicode may be pronounced unexpectedly by screen readers and may not match ordinary search queries. Keep names, links, navigation, important information and long passages in ordinary text. For websites, use CSS or semantic sup/sub markup when formatting is what you need.
