A little heads-up. Tiny text is an umbrella term. Superscript sits above the baseline, subscript below it, and small caps uses compact capitals.

Small details matter.

Short bios, playful display names and small annotations.

These are real Unicode characters, not a font file. They can look different across devices. If you see boxes, a rejected name or awkward spacing, use ordinary text for that field.

Is tiny text the same as small text?

People often use the two names for the same group of Unicode styles. Superscript is the raised style most commonly called tiny text.

Can I make it even smaller?

These characters have fixed glyph shapes. Their visible size depends on the receiving font. Use actual font-size controls when you need a precise size.

Why do some letters stay normal?

Unicode does not offer a complete, consistently supported alphabet for every style. Our superscript set leaves q unchanged; small caps leaves x unchanged; subscript has only 17 Latin letters. We flag unchanged letters instead of silently substituting unrelated characters. Accented letters and other writing systems are preserved.
